• Departmental Orientations (throughout the week)
• New GTA Workshop (August 16-17, 2007-  please contact The Graduate School for info)
• First Fridays at Five Social Event (August 17, 2007 @ 5:00pm)- Location TBA.
• ATTENTION: The August 17th First Friday at Five has been postponed to Friday, Sept. 7, 2007 due to complications with the original location. Sign up for the GSA list-serve to get information and updates about these events each month!
• International Student Services Orientation (All New International Students; This orientation will take place prior to New Graduate Student Orientation on August 18, 2007)
• Official half-day New Graduate Student Orientation:  August 18, 2007 12:00pm-6:00pm* (Please note change in time)
  • Highlights:
    • Graduate Essential Resources Fair (including various campus office and representatives)
    • 3 Concurrent Session Blocks (Topics range from Counseling and Career Services, University Library Research Services, Getting involved on campus, Stress Management, Networking Skills, Financial Aid Services, and more!!)
    • Official welcome from the Graduate School Dean and VP of Student Affairs, graduate leaders and more
    • Lunch in our new UA Lakeside Dining facility
    • Graduate Student Welcome Reception (5:15pm-6:00pm)
