Our New Graduate Student Orientation theme is "The Capstone In Your View"! We have made efforts to ensure that you are able to choose the services and information that will make your time at UA most successful. Each year, the program is set up like and mini conference and includes information about UA, West Alabama Chamber of Commerce, UA Career Services, Counseling, the Recreation Center, Bama Dining, Library Research Services, and more! We are sure this is an event you DON'T want to miss.
At the Eat & Greet Connection Lunch we will enjoy an all you can eat buffet style lunch (with a variety of options) at one of our several on-campus Bama Dining locations.
The purpose is to give each graduate student the opportunity to connect with students of common interests within a selected Lunch Cohort (options are listed below).
New Graduate Student Orientation costs $11.50 (guests are welcome for an additional $7 each). Choose the appropriate reservation through our online Crimson Arts ticketing program. Upon check out you will be able to pay for orientation as well as select your top three lunch cohort options, RSVP for the Graduate Reception (starts at 5:15 pm), and register for various optional tours.

ON-SITE AND GUEST REGISTRATION
Online Pre-Registration Deadline: August 10, 2008. Registration will close on August 10, 2008. The orientation pre-registration fee is $11.50. The Orientation will begin at 11:00am in the Ferguson Center Ballroom (3rd Floor).
On-Site Registration: On-site Registration will be available on the day of August 16, 2008 at check-in for those who missed pre-registration. The fee for all on-site registrations will be $15.00. Registration will begin at 9:30am in the Lobby of the Ferguson Center Ballroom (3rd Floor).
Guest Registration: Graduate Students may also bring guests. You may register your guest when you complete the Online Registration form. The fee for all guests is $7.00.
