Congratulations!

You are about to embark on the ultimate “CAPSTONE” experience!  Welcome to The University of Alabama and we commend your decision to pursue higher education within our walls.  As a new graduate student, you join a community of more than 3700 graduate students at the University.  Whether you have already started classes or will begin this upcoming fall, Graduate Student Services invites you to participate in New Graduate Student Orientation FALL 2008!

The mission of Graduate Student Services is to support the academic, personal, and professional growth of graduate and professional students at The University of Alabama.  We hold at the core that mission, the commitment to sharing in your socialization to a chosen profession and to the university community. 

New Graduate Student Orientation is our effort to begin that journey and prepare YOU (our new family members) for the challenges and triumphs ahead!  New Graduate Student Orientation will take place on August 16, 2008.

Begin your semester as an INFORMED student!  Participation in Graduate Student Orientation 2008 is highly encouraged.  Please “save the dates” and look for additional information to come via mail and throughout the summer.
