Monthly Newsletter - Check with your Academic Department head, frequently check your bama email account or stop by Graduate Student Services, 355 Ferguson, for a copy of the GSS Newsletter each month. The editions will come complete with a Calendar of Events, important information for you as a graduate student, and a feature on graduate student leaders at The Capstone. The 1st Edition of the semester comes out August 22, 2007!

First Friday @ 5 - This event hosted by Graduate Student Services serves as a “Happy Hour” for all UA Graduate students the first Friday of each month. Complimentary appetizers and beverages will be provided. Join us for this time of relaxation and socializing after a hard week!! Each event will last from 5pm-6:30pm at locations around Tuscaloosa and on campus. Locations for each First Friday are posted on the website at the beginning of the semester. Be sure to check the website for any changes!

ATTENTION: The August 17th First Friday at Five has been postponed to Friday, Sept. 7, 2007 due to complications with the original location. Sign up for the GSA list-serve to get information and updates about these events each month!
